This is an intensive course to learn to respond quickly and appropriately to a broad range of threats that may be encountered outside of the home. Students will learn to safely draw from a holster and shoot in many different scenarios. Day one (9 hours) will include a great deal of classroom time, dry fire and live fire exercises to ensure that you can safely draw a loaded firearm from a holster. Day two (5 hours) will be almost entirely hands-on, including shooting in many different scenarios.
Any safe pistol can be used for this class. It is recommended that students learn with 9mm ammunition or larger. Students will need a minimum of 104 rounds of their chosen ammunition, though 200 is recommended.
Please contact me in advance to discuss what you intend to bring. Please no single-action revolvers.
If you don’t have an appropriate firearm, we have pistols and ammo available. If you are thinking about purchasing a gun, we are happy to assist you in selecting the best type for you.
All training and shooting is held on private property, away from distractions. Classes are small with no other shooters present.
Address and directions will be provided prior to class date.
Please call or message us if you have any questions.
Bottled water and snacks will be provided. Firearms, ammo, and personal protective equipment can be provided for students who don't have their own.
