DESCRIPTION:NRA Personal Protection In the Home\n8 hours\nClasses start at 8:00 AM\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\nIntroduction to basic defensive shooting skills and strategies for home defense.\nLearn how to select an appropriate handgun for self-defense.\nInformation pertaining to the rights of self-defense ascribed to law-abiding individuals.\nDiscussion of home layout to determine safe areas\, learn essentials of cover and concealment\, and common sense preparation for general home defense.\nShooting from various positions (standing\, kneeling\, behind cover\, etc.)\n\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Safety is our number one concern.\n(and it should be yours\, as well)\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Any pistol can be used for this class. It is recommended that students learn with 9mm ammunition or larger. Students will need a minimum of 100 rounds of their chosen ammunition. \nIf you don’t have an appropriate firearm\, we have 22 pistols and ammo available. If you are thinking about purchasing a gun\, we are happy to assist you in selecting the best type for you. \nAll training and shooting is held on private property\, away from distractions. DESCRIPTION:NRA Basic Shotgun Training\n10 hours\nClasses start at 8:00 AM\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\nLearn about the different types of shotguns and their parts.\nWe’ll cover ammunition types and their uses.\nWe will discuss proper stance and the fundamentals of properly shooting flying targets.\nGet the opportunity to learn hands on about a specific type of shotgun (learn your own gun).\n\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Safety is our number one concern.\n(and it should be yours\, as well)\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				If you don’t have a shotgun\, we will have guns and ammunition ($5 a box) available. \nThis course will include a good deal of time on the range actually breaking targets. This is a hands-on interactive course. By the end of the day\, you should have acquired solid base knowledge on the fundamentals of shooting shotgun. \nClasses are small with no other shooters present. \nIf you are thinking about purchasing a gun\, we are happy to assist you in selecting the best type for you. \nAll training and shooting is held on private property\, away from distractions.
